Tonir Wedding Village is a venue for traditional weddings, private and public events and festivals. And since most of these traditions are related to rural life, we have chosen a wedding place in the beautiful village of Vaghatin near Vorotnavank, the magnificent monastery of the 10th century in southern Armenia.

The fairy-tale of Tonir Weddings start with the family history and traditions. For every couple the wedding is tailor- made: old and new rituals, wedding dress and national costumes, jewelry, cuisine and traditional games are selected according to the roots and preferences of the client couple based on the study of ethnographic archives. We are also organizing separate research of traditions of Armenia’s every part.
